Message	Maybe purchase a second timing gun to compare results. With the latest and greatest $40 dollar light from Kragen, I was only able to get a solid reading by attaching a spark plug cable from the coil pack to the spark plug and reading from there. Some of the older timing guns can go from the PTU, but the newer ones you only want to use the method above. Its odd the setting would be so extreme.
